Electric Utility Visual Inspections

Americans are connected by electricity. Power entities have an obligatory responsibility to ensure that the electricity delivered to their customers and/or members are received in a safe and efficient manner. Insurance companies require utility providers to inspect - both visually and physically - on an intermittent basis. While the regularity is different amongst industry standards, the one thing that is constant is that it must be done. For decades, walking and/or driving while looking up at the bottom side of an infrastructure was the most common way to perform such tasks - not anymore!

Unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) have changed the way visual inspections are done. With cost savings of averaging between 40% - 65%, drones are providing a way for energy service providers to maintain their visual inspection requirements and save thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars in time, safety, and hazardous environment risks of their lineman staff. Electric utility providers are saving hundreds to thousands of hours in time by finding preventative maintenance items to correct proactively before a problem arises costing their customers and/or members time without power!

Altitude Imaging provides basic and advanced visual inspection services for electric utility providers with guaranteed results of time and cost savings!
